New Goals

Lately I have come to find something that makes me so happy.  That thing is hosting.  I have found a love for hosting and want to make it my career.  I love entertainment news and being on camera so I thought entertainment hosting would be so perfect!  My friend Ryan and I have a web series called Get The Fixx. My dream would is to be an E! News corespondent or Extra! host.  My goal for 2012 are amazing and I can't wait to go after them!  I plan on getting a hosting agent and hosting some sort of show.  I am so inspired and know that it's possible.  I can't wait to get it going!  Finding a new passion is amazing and so thrilling.

Most Wonderful Time Of the Year

The most anticipated time of the year is right around the corner! (other than our birthdays).  Thanksgiving is only a few days away and Christmas is a month! Crazy how time flies.  This time of the year marks one year when I made the biggest decision of my life yet.  Moving to Los Angeles to go after my dream.  Winter break last year I sat down and wrote all my goals & actions I would take to get there.

Moving out to a brand new state at the age of 18 is a scary thought, but so far it's been an amazing experience!  Yes, I miss my home (Arizona), family and friends so so much.  There are times I think I may want to come home, but I know that until I get to where I want I'm not stopping.  I have met a few amazing people out here and couldn't image this big scary city without them.

Having the holidays only a few days away and only a 6 hour car ride home gets me anxious to spend some quality friend and family time.  After all Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday of the year... okay, well my favorite food holiday of the year ;) nom nom.  Waking up to your family on the couch with a cup of coffee watching the Macy's Day Parade, that's always my Thanksgiving morning.

I am so thankful for the people that I have in my life and the ones who have continued to stay in my life throughout everything.  Thankful for the support my family and friends have for me and they have never stopped believing in me.  I can't wait to reunite with the people that mean most to me :)  Have a happy Thanksgiving and Christmas and never stop giving thanks for everything you have been given and blessed with.

What You Love

While I sit here and watch the Nicki Minaj E! Special, it leads me get excited about the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since she just got added to the set to perform.  The fashion show is live tonight in NYC!  Which means it airs in about 3 weeks, November 29th!  For all you that follow my blog, you know I'm obsessed with this day!

The reason I love the whole VS campaign with the angels is because they are women, not paper thin.  It's all about personality and being a natural, toned and curvy woman.  They want to see your personality shine through and it's all about the real YOU!  This is the reason I do what I do.  It keeps me going, knowing that I can be the way I'm made and still do what I loves and makes me happy.  Do what makes you happy and never stop for what you're reaching for.

I can't wait for the day I'm in that casting room.

Do what you love for you, not for anyone else.

Do what works for you.  You shouldn't have to look a certain way, weigh a certain amount or act a certain way just to fit in or get what you want.  The only way you will get anywhere or become successful is your personality.  You know, the girl who talks to herself or makes faces in the mirror all alone?  That girl.  That girl will get you farther than you can ever image.  That's the girl people admire and fall in love with.  Who shows personality more than the VS PINK girls?!

I like to surround myself with motivational people.  People who have a goal and do ANYTHING they can to achieve it.  When you surround yourself with people who are lazy, who are all talk and no action and have so desire to get anything done, it takes effect on you and puts you down.  If you were to look in the mirror every morning and say, "If I died today, would I be happy with today being my last?" and you say no, go figure out something to do to make it epic and amazing.

I have the most amazing, successful and driven people in my life and it continues to make me more and more passionate about my goals and dreams.  I couldn't be happier and love the support I have been given.




Find someone an do something to keep you motivated and do everything possible to reach your dream.  Be obsessed with your craft and love.

Hello friends!

LA has been ahmayzing to say the least.  Great people are coming into my life and I have a lot of great ideas in the works, be looking out :)  I recently took my first acting seminar with Jack Plotnick, who has stared in many many shows/movies you all are familiar with.  Acting is something I am going to continue to pursue and I know I have the right people around me to help out with that.

Saturday I went to the Keith Urban concert with my friend Elena. TO DIE FOR. He is heavenly, amazing and such a believable artist.  The concert was amazing!  He has always been my favorite and I finally got to experience it in person.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion show is approaching in a month and a half!  This is easily my favorite day of the year, over my birthday.  I asked off for work just to watch the show.  I get inspired by the whole show and would die if i was EVER able to go to the show.  They announced the performers yesterday who I have been anxiously awaiting: Maroon 5 & Kanye West.  Maroon 5 was a great choice, (Adam Levigne dating one of the angels, Anne Vyalistsyna) but Kanye West is kind of disappointing.   I do not really like him and am curious how he will do at the show.  Besides that, I am SO anxious for the show.  Hopefully I'll be seeing that stage soon.

Okay so i was introduced to this amazing blog and to say the least, it inspired me.  Who knew only looking at pictures could inspire someone so much?  Today since I had no work, I had a lot of time to sit and think about life.  Last December I sat down and wrote down all my goals for my life/career and gave myself a deadline.  Well, I did it.  I'm in LA, signed with an agency and doing what I love.  So today, 10 months later.. I did the same thing.  I sat down and wrote down every little goal and top goal for my modeling career and life in general, my future.  I got so much motivation today and I want it so bad.  I will get it.

Much Needed

This past week has been so fun, I spent a couple days in Huntington, everything & everyone there is so relaxing and welcoming; nice to get out of LA's craziness.  I wish I could live that close to the beach, too.  Taylor met me down there Wednesday and we went to the Forum Snowboarding world premier of their new video "Vacation".  I obviously didn't want to leave Huntington, but 3 castings the next day stopped me from staying.  I had castings for Nils (a snowboarding brand), Reebok and Sport Chalet.  All these athletic castings get me so excited, this is why I do what I do.

Even though its been an hour since I dropped her off, I was so excited all day to sit and blog about today! Sara Cusick came to visit me and spend a day in LA!  Starting off with my casting, they thought Cus was there for the casting and she obviously just laughed in their face, hahaha.  Then we went hiking at Runyon Canyon where we overlooked the whole city of Los Angeles, and finally got ready and hit The Grove and Robertson Blvd for shopping.  Then Sara died at LF.

I have just recently discovered another form of workout that is better than amazing.  Pilates.  I have been taking a pilates class where they use what's called "reformers".  You lie down on the reformers and use resistance.  It's an amazing way to tone your body without bulking up.  Try it, you'll fall in love just like I did!

Hello!

Being an individual is a beautiful thing.  Creativity, ideas and way of life is amazing for each person.  "To each it's own".  Having your own path in life is personal and inspiring.  When you inspire people, that's an amazing feeling.

New York Fashion Week came to an end and I was so bummed I missed it!  I obviously watched Victoria's Secret Fashion's Night Out live feed on facebook.  Models interviewed fans on the streets and gave makeup tips all live.  I want to go to NY and experience it next year!
