CITYandHILLS: ME ME ME; all about ME

So I've been crazy busy with work at Cheesecake this past week after a nice relaxing vacation back home to AZ.

I took a trip back to AZ for a week before my birthday. It was so nice to see all of my friends and family! Saying bye to my best friends was really hard, but Erin, Emily and I will never lose touch.. we've gone 2 years past high school and still talk regularly. That's what I call true friends. It was nice catching up with everyone and kind of celebrating my birthday a little early since it wouldn't be the same up here in LA.

Not to say I didn't have an amazing birthday here in LA! My day started with a nice workout (as usual), Sivan picked me up for lunch and we went to Marmalade Cafe and ending with Yogurtland. Taylor had to work all day so we took a trip down to Beverly Hills to hang out with her a little at the bake shop! For dinner we cruised down to Santa Monica and went to La Sandia! AMAZING mexican food and the service was incredible! Taylor's work made us an awesome cake with all of our favorite things, including Red Velvet ! Thank you to everyone for all of the birthday wishes, it meant so much!!

Today I surprisingly have NOTHING to do and I'm so excited! A "Lauren" day. I had a workout and now I'm at a Cafe in Hollywood enjoying a green tea and parfait! A nice relaxing day all to myself :)

Just Bloggin'

Now that I've caught you up on life time for a little inspiration. I recently got released from two jobs I was on hold for; an Addidas campaign and a Mary Kay commercial. I get so excited to be considered then it just slips from under me. I just have to realize that I am getting past the first castings and callbacks and to get considered after that is just another plus.

When you are so close to something, don't let go. Keep striving for the goal you are trying to reach. Drive is an amazing quality and with drive, you will get to where you want to be. I wanted to move to LA and model and it took awhile (7 months of hard work) but I'm here and couldn't be more happy or inspired to be here.
