Long Time No Talk

Wow it's been WAY too long since I've posted! I've been crazy busy! Cheesecake, castings and visiting family and friends!

This past week I went to Victoria's Secret at The Grove to stand in line and take a picture with MY FAVORITE angel, Candice Swanepoel.  Before she sat in the chair to take pictures, she came over to me and interviewed me about the new collection she was promoting, VS Fantasies.  I cannot believe I got to talk to her! From obsessing over the computer and VS runway, she was right in front of me talking to me!!!! AHHHH #dreams

but since I have visited my family, I have looked to my younger sister for help.. yes younger sister.. Tatum.  She is such a focused person and keeps me driven.  BTW congrats to Tatum for losing 19 pounds since December.  Only 15 years old and she was doing what people at the age of 25 and above are struggling to do.  I am so blown away when I look at her.  I was making compulsive bad choices in my health.  Going to bed late, bad food choices due to being so busy, not eating until late, etc.  I was getting so busy with castings starting at 9 am and then work following that until 1230 every night.  I was getting so worn out.  I started to get sick and became super negative.  Taking 4 days off modeling/cheesecake got me rejuvenated, motivated and my head is now back on my shoulders. :)

So I have realized that to lose weight, staying happy and healthy.. you have to be clean with your diet and deticated to a daily workout.  Eating every 4-5 hours and about a 45 minute workout.  Here is an example of what I have been doing the past few days (and will continue from now on)and I feel absolutely AMAZING!

*eating healthy is not cheap, but it's 100% worth it.

  • Wake up - 9 a.m.
*Eat a banana before hitting the gym 
  •  Workout CARDIO - 930-1015 a.m.: my cardio consists of a 4 minute warmup on the treadmill at 4.0mph and then on to 5.0mph for 2 miles.  I cool down with a 10 min walk at 4.0mph. finishing off with a nice stretch :)
  • Breakfast - 1030 a.m. : 3 egg whites scrambled, 1 piece of multi grain toast topped with SPRAY BUTTER (zero cals or fat), 1 container of strawberry yogurt LITE&FIT with fresh strawberries on top.
  • Yoga - 1130 a.m.
  • Lunch 230 p.m. - half of turkey sandwich on 1 piece of multi grain toast, fresh strawberries and wheat thins (not too many!)
  • Dinner 630-700 p.m. - 3 egg whites scrambled with pieces of turkey mixed in, yogurt and fresh strawberries
  • If you are dying for a snack before bed I usually go for popcorn (no butter) or some frozen yogurt
I hope this helps anyone who is struggling with diet or is always Googling tips on how to lose weight.
I can promise you that you will start to feel so much cleaner and healthier throughout your day!
