Mama

Today is dedicated to all of the amazing mothers out there.  I for one, have the best.  I would not be living my dream right now in Los Angeles if it weren't for my mom.  All the stressful trips we took out for meetings and apartment hunting was so selfless of her.  I am able to live my dream and go for everything I have ever wanted with the support of my mom.

I love you mom and I hope you had the most amazing day all for you.

Driven? Prove It

It may seem like I always post about the same stuff.... inspired, passion, live life to the fullest, but day-to-day I get so frustrated.  I see & meet so many people that have so much potential and "drive", but they don't do ANYTHING about it.

You wanna be an actor?? TAKE CLASSES & AUDITION.  You wanna do good in school?? STUDY!  You wanna have a successful career?? HAVE PASSION & GO FOR IT!

All talk and no action is completely a turn off.  When you're putting out false advertisement for yourself, it's unattractive.  If you really want something you have to go and get it.  I'm sick of coming across people that I know could have a great future & just throw it away by not trying.

Now, aside from all that bothers me... I still have so much respect for the people I see trying & doing.  No one gets anywhere by just talking.  I won't believe you until you show me with your actions.  I love being surrounded by the people who are inspiring & know what they want.  Driven, in love with, ambitious, motivated & obsessed with their passion.  It's so inspiring to hang out with and converse with people who go after their dreams.

I always try to motivate others & push them to go for what they want.  Pursue what you are passionate about and never let ANYONE tell you that you can't do it.  Because guess what?? If you really want it, you'll do it & you'll do WHATEVER it takes to get there.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason -- so cliché right?? Ya maybe, but it's the truth & just remember that you're more enjoyable to be around when you are driven.

Happiness is the Key to Success

I have been so busy with work for the past few months and haven't been posting!  I WILL be posting more frequent now.  

I went on a "spring break" trip to CABO with my friends from ASU in the middle of march!  This trip was so much fun!  Being with all my old friends from school was the best.  It was so carefree and relaxing I didn't want to ever leave!

In the past few months I have been extremely busy!  Work AND pleasure!  I got a internship at a communications and style firm called Bollare.  I will be working on their celebrity & fashion team!  I am so excited to be apart of such a successful company.  This is what I am possibly interested in as a career, so I will be doing this internship for about 3 months, 3 days a week.  I am hoping this will help me decide what I really want to do with my future.  At Bollare I do a variety of different things having to do with PR, celebrity fashion & all the way to running errands.  I help do pulls with stylists for their celebrity clients everyday wear.  The environment & people I am surrounded by are incredible and inspire me to have a successful career in the next few years. 

I just want to stay busy and focused on a career that I am passionate about.  I don't want to feel like I'm being dragged out of the house to make money.  I know which ever I choose to do in life; whether it's entertainment hosting or Public Relations, I just want to be happy.

I went on another amazing trip to the Bahamas this past weekend!  I had SO MUCH FUN.  The group was way too good and the weather and island was perfect.  Swimming for hours in the clear blue water, runs on the beach, boat rides, dinners and awesome company.  I am so blessed to be surrounded by such passionate, motivated and happy people.  I get re-inspired every time I am around such great people.  The trip was nothing short of amazing and I can't wait to go back ;)

All of these opportunities I get motivates me to be successful in whatever I choose to do.  All I want is to enjoy what I do and be 100% happy.  Life is full of choices that  have to be made and when you regret choices you make then you're not happy.  Mistakes happen and bad choices are made, but that happens and you have to move on.  Learn and don't regret.  Surround yourself with passionate, motivating and most importantly, happy people.  You're alive and have an opportunity to make it amazing.  You can't just sit around and wait for something to happy, you have to work hard and that's when success is achieved.  

I always try to be positive and help people in any way I can.  I want everyone to have the same kind of opportunities I have been so lucky to have.  The MOST important part of it is drive.  You have to WANT IT so bad, do ANYTHING to get what you want.  If its love, a successful career, happiness or just to reach a goal.  Make the best of every situation you have and work hard.  Don't give up on anything you go after.

Time Tells

I can't believe I've been in LA for almost 9 months!  I have had a lot of realization and a lot of amazing opportunities have come to me.  I have been blessed with amazing people I have been surrounded by out here.  Such positive and motivational energy and inspiration.

I believe it is so important to have people who inspire you around.  Having friends that are just as passionate about their dreams as you are, it makes everything so much easier.  Out here in LA I don't have many friends, but I have been so very lucky to meet such inspirational people.  The ones I do have are so incredible.  I am so driven to reach every single dream I have ever had with my career.

I know something good is coming for me and I can't wait to see what I will be blessed with.  I recently saw The Vow (shocking I know) and the love and passion Leo had for his wife was so inspiring.  He did everything he could to get what he deserved.  It doesn't have to just be love, dreams come true if you do everything you can to get there.  It's possible.

Have dreams and never settle for less than the best.

Exciting Year

It's so cliche to say "This will be my year", but really.... THIS IS MY YEAR.  It's a month into 2012 and it's been so crazy already.  Castings everyday, shoots and side job.  I have had the opportunity to have a job with Runway Waiters where I get to go to amazing events and do some 'easy' catering ;)  I did an event at Christian Audiger's house and this weekend will be doing a T-Mobile/Google Grammy party this weekend!

I have made a promise to have as much fun as possible as I can in LA while I'm here!  Recently my old roomie/best friend Taylor came in town and we went to see Ellen again!  Drew Barrymore, Flo Rida and Octivia Spencer were the special guests.  We had so much fun!

Twenty Twelve

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I spent my holidays in Gilbert, AZ with my family and friends.  Christmas was great and so was New Years Eve.  I spent it with the people who mean the most to me and my New Year started perfect.  I have so many new goals and ways I am going to think about things.

Being home for a long time after gone for 7 months was hard.  Not everything seems to be the way I hoped it would be.  I am someone who loves to be surrounded by my friends all the time. When college breaks come, it's not going to be "normal" again, not like the high school days.  People change and not always how you hope, but for a reason.  When you leave high school and say "friends forever", that is not how it usually works out and sucks to think about

NYE 2011/2012

It's hard for me to realize that we are growing up so fast and the people we cared so much about, change.  Change isn't always a bad thing.  Things change for a reason and people will stay in your life for a reason. If they're meant to be in your life then they'll find their way back to you.  I truly believe that people are in your life for a reason and have so much hope for 2012.

It's a new year and as cliché as it sounds, it's going to start and end successful.  I plan on making it as successful, spontaneous and worth it as possible.  I have had my guard up my whole life and am so careful & letting people into my life is hard for me, but I'm not letting anybody or any opportunity slip by me.  I live in Los Angeles, the city of dreams.  I can't let any chance I have slip by me.  Relationships, jobs or opportunity.

I want to share unforgettable memories with someone and have an unbreakable bond.
